Home in Michigan

We are here!

Lily is beyond confused and excited. I think she woke up every hour on the hour last night to give us kisses and say, “Hi!”. She and I have already checked out the dog park this morning (so nice and close!). Last night we had dinner on a patio overlooking Lake Michigan — I took a snapshot in my mind to savor for a long time to come. Life is good. Even better yet, our movers got moved up 3 days and I only have to wait 9 more days for all of our belongings to arrive! Small victories.

Today Mr. P and I have plans to shop for the necessities: food, beer, beach towels, and…toilet paper. I think I packed enough kitchen “stuff” to make a few simple meals. Amen for that.

Here’s a few snap shots of the fun!
