15 apples, peeled, cored, and cut into large chunks
⅓ cup brown sugar
1½ tsp cinnamon
⅔ cup fresh apple cider
Instructions
Combine all ingredients in a large pot set over medium-low heat. Allow to simmer, stirring occasionally, until apples are very tender, about 20-30 minutes.
Once softened, mash the apples with a potato masher or for a smooth applesauce, puree using an immersion blender or blender. Refrigerate 4+ hours before serving.
