Game Day Chili

Ingredients
  • 2 lbs 90% lean ground beef
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 3-4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 (15 oz) cans no salt added black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 24 oz tomato sauce
  • 12 bottle dark beer
  • 14 oz low-sodium beef broth
  • 6 oz tomato paste
  • 4.5 oz chopped green chiles
  • 2 Tbsp chili powder
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp cumin
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper (more or less, to taste)
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1-2 tsp hot sauce
Instructions
  1. In a dutch oven or large pot, brown ground beef over medium heat. Once partially cooked, add onion and garlic and cook until ground beef is fully cooked. Drain grease, if needed.
  2. Add all remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Stir and reduce heat to low and simmer for 3 hours or until thickened, stirring occasionally
