KFC Coleslaw Copycat

Serves: 10 servings (approx ½ cup each)
- 8 cups shredded cabbage*
- 1 carrot (1/3 cup), shredded or matchstick
- 2 Tbsp grated onions
- ⅓ cup sugar
- ½ tsp salt
- ⅛ tsp white pepper
- ¼ cup whole milk
- ½ cup low-fat mayonnaise
- ¼ cup low-fat buttermilk
- 2 Tbsp white vinegar
- 3 Tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
- In a large bowl, combine the cabbage, carrot, onion.
- In a separate, medium bowl, whisk together the sugar and all remaining ingredients until incorporated and smooth.
- Pour the wet ingredients over the cabbage mixture and refrigerate for 4-8 hours before serving.
