How exciting to have another girl. I got all the same comments, though I have three boys. I wanted a boy for the first simply because my husband’s family had nobody to carry on the family name. After that I didn’t care, I was simply happy to have healthy babies. With only 13 months difference between the first two and 23 months between the second and third all clothes get handed down. It is wonderful having the same gender, especially close in age since they are best friends. I still get asked if I’m gong to try for a girl! Heck no, I’m in my forties and three boys is more than enough work thank you very much.

Congrats on another girl! I can see the appeal of why someone would want one of each gender, but personally I would be so sad if my daughter never has a sister! Plus…matching outfits!! 🙂

Congratulations! As a momma of two daughters, I can say that it is beautiful to see the relationship between two sisters. It will be wonderful, if at sometimes high-pitched and drama-filled, adventure. Enjoy it!

Congrats! It’s always nice to have the reassurance that all is well in there! My first two children are girls, 22 months apart! It was great when they were young…I was able to reuse all my baby things & I dressed them in matching or coordinating clothes for as long as they would let me! Now that they are 13 & 15 they rarely want to dress alike 😉 & they fuss and fight more – but they also have a close bond and have each other’s back. I waited 5 years before having a 3rd child and I just KNEW it was a girl…I was so shocked when the ultrasound tech typed B-O-Y on the screen!

I knew you were having another girl!! Don’t worry about what other people say about having two daughters. My sister and I have been close since i was a baby! Plus you can reuse shea’s old clothes throughout their lives like my sister and I! Congratulations again!
