Sorry kiddo...but I don't buy it. Mr Prevention is Shea's father. Give him time and space to do stuff on his own with her. Have him learn his own path. This child will survive the adventure. He will manage because he has too. If something goes wrong or he forgets something he will fix it. He will be more than capable and cope in his own way.

It will probably not be on YOUR (or her) perfect schedule. It may not have all the elements you want. If the only way to measure the success of this is that he is expected to do it YOUR way. he is being set up to fail. And then why would he want to ever do it again?

It's JUST like cookies for breakfast. It sounds TOTALLY bad but really it is awesome!

Go to the conference. Breathe and stop worrying.

Yes, it will be an eye opener for your hubs! I once time worked for an attorney who's wife was a stay at home Mom AND they had a nanny and he came into work saying how tired he was - I was a single Mom at the time and I told him that it was always my turn for everything - I couldn't say "hey honey, it's your turn to give the baby a bath." That shut him up pretty quick!

Love these cookies - is there a reason for using both quick and regular oats, or could I use regular oats for the whole recipe?
