My pie finally cooked after about an hour and a half. We did enjoy this…just much later than expected!

Also – I wasn’t sure what kind of sausage to buy. With the reference to fennel in the description, I went with mild Italian, which did work nicely.

I love egg type casseroles, the versatility and adaptability can’t be beat, but the usual 9×13 size make them impractical for me to make for regular occasions without a ton of people, or even just to eat throughout the week, so this size is great! I can’t wait to give it a try, thanks for the inspiration and for sharing!
