					<description><![CDATA[Learn from my mistake - if your grocery store is out of hash browns like mine was, do NOT sub shredded potatoes - at least not at an equal weight or without parcooking them first.  My pie finally cooked after about an hour and a half.  We did enjoy this...just much later than expected!

Also - I wasn&#039;t sure what kind of sausage to buy.  With the reference to fennel in the description, I went with mild Italian, which did work nicely.]]></description>

I love egg type casseroles, the versatility and adaptability can&#039;t be beat, but the usual 9x13 size make them impractical for me to make for regular occasions without a ton of people, or even just to eat throughout the week, so this size is great!
