In reply to <a href="https://preventionrd.com/simple-stovetop-applesauce/#comment-354376">Nicole Morrissey</a>.

I know this doesn't sound stress-relieving, but I was *constantly* worried about my supply (to the point of driving myself and my husband insane) and somehow it always just worked out. For example. I'd be at work during the day, and have only enough for her to have 'x' number of ounces during the day. And that day she would be satisfied with only what was in the fridge at daycare. Then I'd think, oh wow, great I built up my stash! and then she'd pound a ton of milk, or I'd be gone longer than expected and she'd drink it all. Honestly, breastfeeding has been the toughest part of being a parent for me! It requires so much commitment (as it's always on you - whether you are feeding the babe directly or pumping) and no one can help with that - so make sure to get help with other areas (cleaning, cooking, etc.) Sorry if this is long and rambling, or too much info. Clearly I have a lot to say on the topic! Enjoy your time with Shea!

Liz, thank you! REALLY appreciate your response. I'm already worried about going back to work and keeping up with her needs...and I'm off for another 10 1/2 weeks! I'm crazy, I know. It just seems like precious gold and when I think I'm getting a bit ahead (um, like 3 ounces!)...it seems like she wants a bit more. I'm doing all I know to do to keep my supply up, but it's hard not to stress over, especially knowing I'm going back to work. Ah! So worth it, though :)

Hi Melissa! Thank you! I freeze the applesauce in 1-2 serving portions in tupperware and just pull and thaw as needed/wanted :)

Hi Nicole. Love your blog! This applesauce looks great!

Just wanted to say, as a mom to a 16-month-old girl, breastfeeding is SUPER hard. We made it through and she was breastfed until around a year (a miracle!) but it was a really hard road to navigate. Hang in there though, it definitely gets easier (and more pain free) but it definitely takes some time. If you need any advice or anything feel free to reach out to me via e-mail.
