Thanks so much for sharing. I first found it last March when trying to make dinner for my whole family (vegetarians and all) and EVERYONE loved it. I’ve made it many, many times since then — just tonight in fact, which got me thinking, I should write a comment about how awesome this soup is. I do everything like you say, except I use vegetable stock instead of chicken (originally to accommodate the vegetarian in my family, but liked it so much I always make it that way). LOVE IT! Really, I became ok with the rain the second I bought a brand new car that had windows that all rolled up. The drivers side window in my old car was open 2 inches at all times. Back then, I hated rain too. 🙂

Living in Vegas, I love the rain but I think that’s due to the fact that we don’t get it very often. I am sure I would get sick of it if it rained more often.
