8th Annual Chili Contest — Now Accepting Entries!

It’s hard to believe that’s it’s nearly that time of year again…CHILI SEASON! This will be my 8th (!) annual chili contest here on PreventionRD.com – how is that even possible?! Time flies.

Chili epitomizes everything that I love about fall, including football, beer, and cooler temperatures. I know that summer hasn’t quite wrapped up, but I wanted to give ample time for readers to submit their best chili creation!

I’ll feature each recipe as a blog post to share with all the other chili lovers of the world, giving credit to you (or the source of your recipe – so if you have a blog, include the URL in your email, please!)

What’s in it for you? Bragging rights! And the chance to win, of course…to the tune of $200 for 1st place in the form of a Visa giftcard! Your winning recipe is worth some serious cash!

I will accept the first 6 recipe submissions that will be made throughout the college football season. The winner will be announced in early January, when the season wraps up (Go Illini!).
