Christmas Cookie and Goodie Round-Up + A Giveaway!

It’s that time of year again. I’ve finalized my Christmas baking and I figured you may be doing the same. Since I’m running a bit behind this year and I’m repeating many of our favorites from year’s past (such as buckeyes, crock pot peanut clusters, peanut butter blossoms, and English toffee), I figured a round-up was in order.

Since it’s also the season to GIVE, I’m also hosting a little giveaway — TWO copies of my gluten-free cookbook, Prevention RD’s Cooking and Baking with Almond Flour. See details below and enjoy the sugar overload!

How in the world are you doing all that baking with a baby at home? You amaze me!

I think my only baking this year will be two fruitcakes…they are my favorite and I make sure to make at least one every single year. I’m actually making one on Saturday for a friend’s birthday ๐Ÿ™‚

I love gingerbread and pumpkin flavors. Pumpkin bread, soft gingerbread cookies…even better if there’s somehow chocolate incorporated as well!

We will be making sugar cookies and red velvet crinkles tomorrow (grandma, mom and I). I wanted to do one of the fudges but grandma requested plain chocolate….boring ;). Hope you all are having a great holiday season, especially with little Shea!!

It’s a hard call, but if I had to focus on the holiday time, it would be fudge or these amazing white and dark chocolate truffle bars my mom makes. It’s a layer of crisp white chocolate topped with a dark chocolate truffle layer, and then completed with another layer of white chocolate. So delicious! Though toffee sounds AMAZING right now….
