Another delicious season of chili comes and goes. The football season was a bit…well, unlike any other. But as with all things 2020, that’s what was to be expected. The Illini could’ve done worse and they certainly could’ve done a whole lot better. We ended the season by firing our head coach, Lovie Smith. We’ll see what the future brings for Illinois football. As always, looking forward to the basketball season which, so far anyway, is going quite well!

As always, each recipe was incredibly different from the next. But this year, it is Dave’s Captain’s Chili submission that takes 1st place (a close second being the All Meat & Veggie Chili!). Beef, andouille sausauge, corn, beans…and lots of heat! Mmmm! Thanks, Dave! I’ll be in touch!
